The results of the Turkish presidential elections have concluded and the turbulence that followed has settled. I would like to share a project that we developed during this period.

In the initial round of the election, we initiated a small-scale project to address the issue of excessively long queues, with waiting times exceeding 4 hours. During the second round, we managed to significantly reduce these waiting times to approximately 3 to 5 minutes. It was truly gratifying to witness individuals checking queue statuses not by enduring lengthy lines but by simply glancing at their screens from nearby coffee shops. It's important to note that this improvement isn't precisely quantifiable, and the fact that there were only 2 candidates in the second round played a significant role. Technically speaking, the second-round ballot was binary, with a true/false (boolean) format.

We've received substantial interest from approximately 20 different countries regarding the implementation of a similar system. Some inquiries even suggested making this project open source. We may consider sharing this project as open source for upcoming elections.
